Sunnyside Preschool operates the government funded ECCE scheme from 9.30am to 12.30pm   school calendar. We work on a child lead play-based curriculum where every child is encouraged to help shape their own learning and development in a fun and meaningful way. Outdoor play is a huge part of our curriculum where we explore nature, in the woods on our door, learn many skills in this natural environment and also explore the wide variety of equipment on offer.

Our ethos is to treat each child with the utmost respect while nurturing children’s love of life and boundless curiosity. We encourage exploring and learning through a safe, stimulating, age- appropriate environment, where we help nurture, challenge and foster independence for each child.

We understand it takes a village to raise a child and we aim to fulfil our role in this, by working with parents, families and communities to empower children to learn and grow together. At Sunnyside Preschool we believe promoting children to live and learn in this way, we are creating a better and brighter future, one child at a time.

​Sunnyside now offers after school care on site. 
After school runs from Monday to Thursday evenings based on demand. The after school hours are based on demand but generally run form 2pm to 5pm. 
The club is registered with the NCS and parents will be able to apply for a minimum €1.40 discount per hour.
